Originally written for a legendland "dear diary" challenge.

Day 1
D'Harans killed – 4
Horses – 0 found, 0 lost
Eyerolls – 2

Kahlan thinks keeping a diary will help me get in touch with my *feelings*. Today we had to walk everywhere, the wizard was hungry, and Richard and Kahlan kept making stupid faces at each other. Then I killed some D'harans, which was awesome. Typical day in the Midlands.


Day 2
D'Harans killed – 0 *sad*
Horses – 4 found, 0 lost; IDEK where they come from, but Zedd says don't look a gift horse in the mouth
Eyerolls – 4

We rode around, Kahlan's hair was being awesome in the wind. The wizard was hungry. We saved a village, but Kahlan wouldn't let me kill anyone. The villagers made us food and Richard made a speech, hence the extra eye-rolls.


Day 3
D'Harans killed – 0 – where are bad guys when you need them?
Horses – 4 lost, 0 found, so we're walking again. Whatever.
Eyerolls -2

The compass led us to a valley. The wizard was hungry. Richard took his shirt off to chop wood – I think maybe his abs work better when uncovered. While the men made a fire and burnt a rabbit for dinner, Kahlan and I bathed in the river.
Kahlan let me wash her back. Then I let her wash mine. Then...Zedd came and yelled food was ready :(


Day 4
D'Harans killed -2
Horses – 0 found, 0 lost
Eyerolls -6

Richard kept asking about our bathing in the river. Kahlan tried to distract him by leaning over to lace her boots up and show him her thighs. The wizard was hungry.
Kahlan killed 2 D'harans, I killed 2, Richard killed 1, and Zedd killed 2 and a tree that happened to be in the way.
The family we saved from the D'Harans were super-grateful. The oldest boy was fascinated by my leathers and asked how I kept them clean. I explained that first I wash with them on, then I take them off and bathe without them.
Richard kept muttering "With them on…with them off," in a dazed way, and staring at Kahlan and then at me. I eye-rolled a lot.


Day 5
D'Harans killed -0; Sisters of the Dark killed -8! V. good.
Horses – 4 found, 0 lost. Walking again.
Eyerolls-1

The Sisters of the Dark attacked us. We killed them all. The wizard was hungry.
Richard pointed out a river and suggested bathing again. Kahlan said her hair got upset if she washed it more than once a week. No-one wanted to upset the Hair.
Richard took his shirt off even though he wasn't chopping wood. I told him that, as Lord Rahl, I was his to command *hint, hint*. He looked at Kahlan and then shook his head.
I rolled my eyes, but really, I wanted to go over and kiss Kahlan. We could be, like, an OTP3.
Damn, this diary thing is making me reveal my feelings! That's it, it's going in the fire tonight!
