My fills from the 3 sentence 2018 winter ficathon. Only 3 months later!
Fandoms: The Orville, Star Trek: TNG, Revenge, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, MacGyver, Killjoys, Da Vinci's Demons, The Borgias, Star Wars, The Librarians, A Discovery of Witches, Highlander: The Series

The Orville

Prompt: Any fandom, any character, High-tech robot turns out to be a man in a robot suit
The Orville, Gordon, Ed, not!Isaac

"I'm telling you that's not Isaac," Gordon said and, to Ed's horror, ripped off Isaac's head…revealing a terrified looking human.

Ed had a lot of questions like who the hell was this man, what had happened to Isaac, when had the switch happened and how, and yet the first thing he managed to articulate was, "Well, okay, but what if it had been Isaac's head you pulled off?"

Gordon shrugged, tucking the helmet beneath his arm, and said, "Like it'd be the first time I ever decapitated him."

Star Trek:TNG/The Orville
Prompt: Orville/Star Trek crossover, any, “The Prime Directive is just about as useful as the Three Laws of Robotics.”

"In that while there are limitations and that as our understanding grows and we evolve, our rules and ethics evolve?" Picard asked.

Ed gaped a moment before saying, "Yes, that's what I meant."

It hadn't been, but then he wasn't entirely sure what he'd meant besides trying to sound intelligent and debonair in order to impress "The" Jean-Luc Picard, a hard task when he was utterly star struck and somewhat drunk.

Revenge
Prompt: Any, any, the obligatory “see you next year” joke (4 sentences in this one!)

"See you next year," Nolan said, raising his glass in a toast and Emily shook her head at him, though with a smile on her face.

She left the room in search of Jack and Nolan gazed out from the balcony at the dark beach and restless sea, hair ruffled by the breeze. It was to his surprise when, as the clock began to chime, and the partygoers downstairs chanted the countdown, Emily returned and kissed him without hesitation – full on the lips, hungrily, passionately.

"Happy New Year," she said softly when the kiss ended as the final chime faded away and it was the best start to the year he'd ever had.

Arrowverse

Prompt: Flash, Barry/Leonard, Saints and Sinners
They say opposites attract and for them it was true; the saint and the sinner, the hero and the criminal, the earnest Barry and the sarcastic Snart.

They were also opposites within themselves, Snart warm hearted without his cold gun, Barry beautifully slow when he was making love to Snart instead of chasing him.

It was not a match made in heaven, nor would it have happened via any dating app, but there was no denying that they were drawn together despite, if not because, of their differences.

Prompt: Legends of Tomorrow, Ray/Norah/Constantine, Ray's dark side, surprisingly, is delicious

"I didn't know you had it in you," John whispers, cupping Ray's cheek as the three of them lie naked amongst the tangled sheets.

"I told you it would be worth the wait, John," Norah chuckles, before she presses a kiss to Ray's shoulder.

"You guys are a bad influence on me," Ray says, before he fiercely kisses John on the lips, one hand snaking out to make Norah shriek in delight.

Prompt: Any fandom, any character, "Who's flying this thing?"
Legends of Tomorrow, gen

The man they'd rescued stared at the viewscreen, asking, "Who's flying this thing?"

"I am," Gideon said, appearing behind him, causing him to startle at the sound and then boggle when he turned to see the disembodied head.

He glanced at Sara who shrugged and said, "Gideon, Marcus; Marcus, Gideon – she'll take you to safety while I go grab us some much needed drinks."

original fill (I didn't post this one to AO3)

MacGyver (2016)
Prompt: Any fandom, any character, was espionage supposed to be fun?

"That was awesome," Jack said, looking around at the resulting devastation with some pride, and a lot of exhilaration at the fact he and Mac were unscathed.

"Try to behave like a professional," Matty snapped in his ear.

He chalked it up to the fact Matty had company, bigwig company, back at Phoenix, because honestly she'd known him long enough to know that his behaviour never had a negative impact on the outcome of a mission; said, "Yes, ma'am," which they'd discuss later because he only called her ma'am when he wanted to be annoying, and gave Mac a high five.

Killjoys
Prompt: Killjoys; Dutch, Johnny; nonsexual life partners

Trying to explain their relationship was ridiculous and arguably pointless. Words like brother or lover were lies; words like partner seemed inadequate, though she'd heard Johnny refer to her as his 'nonsexual life partner'.

They were more like soulmates than anything else, Johnny her anchor and her compass, the one person she could always rely on, the person Dutch loved and cared about more than anyone else in the universe; there wasn’t a word in any language she'd come across that came close to encompassing what they were to each other.

Da Vinci's Demons
Prompt: any, any, promising not to kill people who annoy you is not a valid New Year’s resolution

"I thought you might approve," Riario says, somewhat hurt and Zo stares at him.

"Well," Zo says carefully, "maybe for you it is a valid one, so I'll drink to that."

Riario gives a small smile, glancing up from beneath his lashes and Zo clinks their glasses together, slipping one arm around his one-time enemy now comrade, friend, and potentially more – and exploring the 'more' is Zo's own, unspoken resolution, one that must be approached with caution but will be a challenge and a delight.

The Borgias
Prompt: Any fandom, any characters, faith is my pillar

Cesare may claim that he is driven by faith, that everything he does is God's will.

It is untrue, for his ambition is not holy, though frequently tolerated and often sanctioned by the Holy Father.

Behind that burning ambition however is another deep desire, the passion he holds for Lucrezia, a love that he clings to through the darkest of days and longest of nights, his faith in and fealty for his sister stronger than any other belief.

Star Wars
Prompt: Any, Any, “Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend.”
Reylo, future fic

Rey's fingers stroked Ben's hair – Ben, not Kylo, not now and never again – as he wept into her lap.

She had fought Kylo with her cunning and her skill, but she had saved Ben with love. The love she felt for him, the reminder of his parents' love which he'd once turned away from, the love he'd longed for but thought himself unworthy of; it was love that had killed Kylo and let Ben be reborn.

The Librarians
Prompt: The Librarians; Cassandra and/or Jenkins; the Lady of the Lake

This is her true destiny and always has been. Jenkins kneels before the resplendent demigoddess, one hand over his heart, and murmurs, "My Lady." Cassandra's dress ripples like the ocean as she reaches over to cup his chin and say, "My Galahad."

A Discovery of Witches
Prompt: any fandom, any, Sealing their Memory and Power did not make them safe, It made the danger invisible.
Spoilers throughout season one

When her magic coursed through her, exhilarating and terrifying as the Witch Wind rose up to protect her, Diana knew her life would never be the same.

When she discovered she'd been spell-bound by her parents, she knew they'd done it out of love, trying to keep her safe.

Yet Knox was still pursuing her, the Council sought her, vampires still sensed her magic, leaving her to wonder; how long had she been unknowingly stalked by her enemies; how much better prepared for the battle ahead would she be, if she'd been training with magic all those lost years; how different would her life be if she'd always known the truth?

Highlander: The Series
Prompt: Highlander: The Series, Methos, there's a nice view from the moral high ground

When the Quickening was over, Methos, sweating, exhausted and exhilarated in equal parts, sheathed his sword.

Duncan stared at him disapprovingly before he lowered his gaze. It was a nice view from the moral high ground but they both knew that Methos had done the only thing that could be done.
