She often advises and gives instructions to Baltar. While she usually appears to him as part of the real world, occasionally he interacts with her in an imagined but persistent dream-like setting within his mind.'(1)
Initially Baltar worries he is insane and resists Six's attempts to convince him to believe in the singular Cylon deity. Over time however, he develops a relationship with her, and comes to believe that he has been chosen to lead people to a better future on Earth and that Six is an angel sent to guide him as he accomplishes this task.
