So bleodswean has been having fun playing at therealljidol and telling me I ought to sign up, and now's my chance - you can sign up too at this post.

What is it? I'm not even completely sure. It's a writing contest, unless you want to do something other than write, I think. Original fic mostly, but I think fanfic is allowed but then no-one will read it, and then no-one will vote for you, which is important because it's definitely a contest. Unless you're playing something the Home Game which is when you fill the prompts but just for the fun of it, not the prizes.

Note: there are no prizes.

I'm going to give it a go anyway, or at least dip my toe into the pool and see what the water is like :)
