British weather

So it was way too hot and humid Tuesday and Wednesday here. Rainstorm on Thursday. More settled Friday. Sun and showers Saturday [yesterday]. Today? Sun in the morning, cloud cover, and now a thunderstorm with thunder, lightening and hail. In August. Hail. Seriously :P

We'd been having lunch outside and came indoors just beforehand; the hailstones were small and probably wouldn't have hurt too much though :D

I don't remember any weather warnings for thunder or hail...very unexpected. Well if the weather's just as wacky over in France, you won't notice a difference come September :D

Wow, hail - intense!

I like thunderstorms, though. It rained all last night, which was nice :)

Rain at night is the best :D I love the sound of raindrops against the window.
